MapZilla is Td5Zilla's new dedicated software platform for mapping, flashing, and live data logging your Land Rover Td5 ECU. MapZilla delivers that proven technology in a clean, focused tool designed specifically for Defender and Discovery Td5 owners.

MapZilla connects your Windows laptop directly to your Td5 ECU via an inexpensive VAG-COM KKL cable, giving you full access to:

• Live data logging — capture real-time engine data at high speed, directly to your PC
• ECU flashing — read and write maps to your NNN Td5 ECU quickly and reliably
• ECU Configuration — configure a new NNN ECU to your car easily and efficiently

No more SD card. The old way meant shuffling an SD card between your laptop and your Nanocom every single time you wanted to log or flash. MapZilla connects directly — open the software, plug in the cable, and you're live. No cards, no readers, no wasted time.

Faster uploads. Flashing a new map to your ECU is significantly quicker. The direct connection and optimised MEMS3 protocol means less time waiting and more time driving.

More reliable logging. With no SD card in the chain, there's nothing to corrupt, no dropped frames from a slow card, and no silent failures. Your log data goes straight from the ECU to your screen and to file, every time.

Faster logging. MapZilla captures data at a higher rate than SD card-based tools can manage. More data points per second means finer resolution — whether you're analysing fuel delivery, boost response, or chasing a fault

The typical MapZilla session is straightforward. With your vehicle stationary and ignition on, you plug your KKL cable into the Td5 diagnostic port and launch MapZilla on your laptop. The software connects to the ECU and you're immediately presented with your options — log, flash, or manage your dual maps.

For logging, you select your parameters, hit record, take the car for a run, and the data is waiting for you on your laptop the moment you get back. No card to pull, no file to transfer. You can review the data yourself using the free Td5Zilla Log Analyser tool, or send it straight to Td5Zilla for remote tuning analysis and map refinement.

For flashing, you load your map file, write it to the ECU, and you're done. The process is fast, verified, and built on MEMS3's brick-proof programming approach — meaning the ECU only finalises the write once the data has been fully confirmed, so a dropped connection or momentary power issue won't leave you with a dead ECU.
